(no subject)

hello world! this is my first attempt at a live journal, so i hope i can think of some interesting things to say. let's see

nope, nothing. hmm. possibly i'm irredeemably dull, or i may just be having writer's block. only time will tell. well, and hopefully my friends can back me up on the "not irredeemably dull" front, but you can never tell with friends! ;-)

i suppose the fact that i'm supposed to write forty pages or so by this time on wednesday is contributing to my inability to write: if i could write, i would have to be doing that instead of procrastinating as i am. the joy of procrastination! well, and unseasonal snow. so far today, they have enabled me to sign up for a live journal, read through the TORn page thoroughly, check to see that i have NOT won the lottery (as per usual!), and entertain a sad fantasy about moving to LA to become famous and meet one or two beautiful movie stars (mostly the deceptively boyish, but some of the rugged-yet-sanitary school), who will naturally fall madly in love and cast themselves at my feet. ah, the daydreams brought on by an unexpectedly snowy day...

i'm off to think dark thoughts about my need to write coherently on such a cold gloomy day. surely it will melt tomorrow?
